LA GRANDE, Ore. Kalulusno Ngaida, a senior at Cascade High School, recently signed her national letter of intent to compete in track and field at Eastern Oregon University.

Eastern Oregon athletics has hired Rebecca Rhodes as assistant cross country and track and field coach.

A native of Meridian, Idaho, Slagowski ran the seventh fastest mile time in U.S. history for a high school athlete in his senior year out of Rocky Mountain High.

Out of 199 programs in the final standings, the Mountaineers scored No. 12, the highest finish in school history.

A biology major with a concentration in molecular biology and a minor in chemistry, Maszk has earned Academic All-CCC eight times and has made the dean's list six times.
